Srinagar (KNO) : Expressing sadness and anguish over the murder of children by the Indian occupational forces on daily basis, spokesperson of Dukhtaran-e-Emillat, Rifat Fatima, on Monday paid glowing tributes to the Mujahideen and civilians who achieved martyrdom in Badigam, Shopian and Chattabal, Srinagar respectively.

In a statement, Rifat also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family members of the martyrs and asked them to maintain patience in these testing times. “ The martyrdom of Shaheed, Saddam Padder, Shaheed Tawseef Ahmad, Shaheed Adil Malik, Shaheed Bilal Molvi, Shaheed Dr Mohammad Rafi in Shopian and the martyrdom of Shaheed Showkat Sahab, Shaheed Fayaz Hamal and one more brother in Chattabal in the past two days and the subsequent killing of innocent children of Kashmir is a great setback to the ongoing resistance movement,” Rifat said. She said that this pious movement has seen many such unfortunate phases since 1947.

“ So we should not lose hope .InshaAllah, this movement will continue until the last Indian trooper leaves Kashmir and people of Kashmir decide their future ,” she added. Rifat said that every person in Kashmir is associated with this pious movement and are sacrificing their lives on daily basis to see an end to the illegal Indian occupation. “ The statement of DGP of the infamous JK Police that ‘they act against Mujahideen based on the inputs from the people’ is a blatant lie and baseless. Reality is that some conscienceless people sell themselves and do such sinful acts. Otherwise, the whole Kashmiri nation shows extreme love for Mujahideen and to save the Mujahideen , put their own lives in line. The latest example of that love is the martyrdom of five of our children in Shopian and hundreds who are undergoing treatment in hospitals across Kashmir,” she added. She said that barbarity of Indian forces and JK Police has now reached alarming level.

“ These trigger happy terrorists don’t feel satisfied by killing Kashmiris by bullets and pellets. Now, these barbaric forces are using their vehicles to crush down our children as was done to Adil Ahmad of Safa Kadal on Saturday,” she added. Rubbishing the statement of puppet CM, Mehbooba, that “gun and stones are picked only by children of poor”, Rifat said that this stooge is so much busy in enjoying her power with Hindu fascists that she doesn’t even know the background of the martyred Mujahideen and stone throwing youth.

“This shameless woman should know that most of the Mujahideen are highly qualified, were working on respectable posts and come from well-to-do families. Some examples include Shaheed Dr Mohammad Rafi, Shaheed Aetimad Rasool Wani, Shaheed Mussavir Wani etc. On the contrary, the people who work as informers and for pro-India parties are those who are very poor and their miseries are being exploited by the occupying forces and are forced to become informers,” she added. Meanwhile, Rifat said that the puppet government has extended the remand of the party chairperson, Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi and her associates for 10 more days.

“ Today, she was supposed to be brought to court in Islamabad for hearing, but due to ongoing situation across Kashmir, she was not brought to the court. The 10-day remand order was sent to the jail,” Rifat added. Condemning the illegal detention of the party chairperson and others, Rifat said that Andrabi Sahiba’s health has deteriorated to a large extent as no medical or other facility has been made available to her in the jail.
